Major Responsibilities:



-To manage projects regarding homologations (coordination of activities, cost control & payment, project follow-up.)

-To coordinate with application engineering, testing, plant quality engineers to get supporting homologation activities in this field.

-Building up the STC airbag and seatbelt homologation type list according to global requirement, to finish the seatbelt homologation data sheet and communicate with EU colleague to finalize into global data base.

-COP test support regarding the relative homologation tests.

-Update the regulation according to relative authority party or government's publication.

-Seatbelt validation activity support.




Key Competencies:



-General knowledge of the automotive components homologation knowledge

-Familiar with the relative regulations (e.g. GB, ECE, FMVSS)

-Good computer software and programming knowledge. Proficient in productivity software (i.e., Microsoft Office,etc.)

-Fluent English language both in oral and written.

-Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of team.

-General knowledge of engineering testing and measurement and processing is a plus

-Familiar with occupant safety system and vehicle designs and validation is a plus.




Education and Experience:



-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Automotive Engineering or its equivalent.

-Minimum 1- 3 years experience in engineering in automotive or similar industry.

-Familiar with seatbelt homologation (3C, ECE Type approval) is a plus
