Responsibilities
Serve as a software developer within an engineering team that is part of a global organization delivering storage software. This team is part of the group that is responsible for design, development and integration of cutting edge Storage Array Platform software. Focus will be on the development and optimization of embedded software drivers and services in a multi-threaded microprocessor environment for storage device topology configuration and enclosure management.


Responsibilities include design, implementation and debug of embedded storage array software/firmware/automation test tool, writing specifications (Functional, Design, Unit/Integration test), and participation in software design and code reviews. Assignments require collaboration with other engineering and cross functional groups, and will include support for new hardware platform development as well as upgrades, enhancements or fixes to existing products.


Candidate must demonstrate strong motivation, problem solving and communication skills, and a proven record of meeting aggressive deadlines.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities
All aspects of system software design, development
Serve as major contributor towards team goals
In coordination with the local site manager and the US-based teams accomplish tasks assigned to the Center of Excellence team
Reports status, highlights issues and concerns


Required Education and Experience
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
0-3 years of industry experience in system level or embedded software design and testing and development
Strong working knowledge of technical English, including ability to freely converse and exchange written communication


Required Skills
Practical experience using C language, with strong coding and design skills.
Practical experience in multi-threaded software/firmware development and associated tools.
Practical experience with contemporary Software Engineering principles, Software Development Life Cycle.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
Ability to ramp up quickly on SW/HW architectures, and work as a self starter.
