职位描述
Key areas of accountability/responsibility
1. Develop and actively maintain market knowledge on trends and developments in new business segments/industries/markets; recognized as discussion partner in the market
2. Develop market analysis and build business cases
3. Propose a business plan for the identified opportunities and projects
4. Once approved, define and manage projects for implementation of such business plan, using a full multi-disciplinary approach:
- develop and manage (the portfolio) of business partnerships and joint developments
- develop and manage existing / new customers or partners, markets and applications
- initiate contacts and develop a tailor made value proposition
- prepare and structure deal making (regulatory, IP, Legal per agreement phase)
- negotiate the agreement within agreed boundaries.
- develop marketing tools for new markets and applications
5. Responsible for target realization in assigned business area
6. Manage the product introduction process from a marketing point of view.
7. Take care of key account management.
9. Contribute to building a strong liaisons/team spirit across all regions.
10. Make active use of DSM best practices.
11. Take SHE ownership for self and coworkers
12. Keep all relevant business and technical information as well as trade secrets secure from non-DSM parties. Act compliant with the competition law.
Knowledge and educational level
- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Science or Business Administration
- Business intelligence, market and/or financial analysis skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Able to work in various (virtual) multicultural teams
- Able to work in dynamic, innovation driven organization
- Proven conceptual and strategic skills.
Required level of experiences
? Minimum of 10 year experience in market/business development
? Experienced in market and/or financial analysis, customer interactions
? A network in the area of the nutrition/food/materials would be a plus
? Demonstrated track record in negotiating and closing deals ranging from a supply agreement to a multi-year collaboration would be a plus
? Relevant business experience towards collaborating with large and small companies capable of interfacing with senior technical and commercial people
? Sufficient sensitivity and management skills to be successful in a multi cultural environment.
