AJ Produkter AB is a renowned mail order company in Scandinavian; original from Sweden, we are selling in 17 markets in Europe and Nordic countries. Today we deal with variety range of products from office furniture; outdoor furniture to warehouse equipment and material handling items.

AJ has established a liaison office in Guangzhou since year 2006; we have cargos leaving ports of China along the coast line almost every week. Along with business development; we are actively looking for experienced personnel to join us; who will be responsible for quality control among all product areas.

Position: Quality Controller (货物检验及品质控制专员: 2人)

Job Responsibility:

Quality control on responsible range of products (product, packaging etc.);
On-site checking on deliveries, monitoring container loading;
Practical experience of on-site assessments of suppliers in regards of quality control, on time deliveries, packaging solution and business ethics;
Problem solving; take initiative to improve product quality and its packaging;
Help solve claim from HQ;;
To provide technical support to suppliers when translate directives from HQ;
Sourcing task (help develop new product range for mail order sales);

Requirement:

1)Familiar with products: such as office furniture, outdoor furniture, storage equipment, and material handling articles;
2)Good understanding of product functions; be able to read and translate technical drawings into directives to suppliers for production;
3)Hands-on practice of checking goods/articles from production site;
4)Problem solving abilities with result-oriented aims; (such as claims, production errors packaging improvement etc.)
5)Management on different vendor accounts;
6)Merits with 5 years working experience for western companies/organization plus 2 years or above of sourcing experience;
7)Proficiency in English (reading, writing is a must; ok to communicate in English);
8)Out-going, Task-oriented, Team Spirit;
9)Willing to travel frequently.
