Role Purpose

The Regional Operation Manager will primarily be responsible for supervising the contract services including but not limited to Catering, Transportation, Cleaning as well as maintenance services with schools premises; planning services that ensure facilitates are adequate to provide a safe and positive learning environment.

1. General

· Line management responsibility for a wide range of customer orientated facility services in terms of building maintenance, new refurbishment project, catering, transportation/school bus, cleaning, fire safety and security.

· Act as a line manager for the functions details above to ensure the staffing management of campus based Operation Officer including setting objective, performance evaluation, management as well as staff development in order to ensure the effective performance and development of Operation team.

· Budgetary preparation for the details above areas.

· To lead the planning and implementation of efficient and effective maintenance programs including a rolling plan for refurbishment and upgrade of school properties and buildings.

· To manage the catering service ensuring the high levels of customer service are achieved through the delivery of a high standard service, full compliance with food quality guidance, hygiene regulation etc…

· Working closely with school based H&S Coordinator and Operation Officer to ensure that the line management responsibilities for all H&S related matters are fully understood and implemented in a consistent method.

· Working closely with school to understand their needs in terms of facility support.

· Be responsible for the development of the School security strategy, its implementation and ongoing evaluation against best practice and proper standard.

· Be able to work during school holiday period.

2. Training

Guide and support training of the team member so as to developing competencies to deliver facility management skill to the school.
