1.Industrial engineering is responsible for defining manufacturing headcount, equipment, and space capacity to support forecasted factory demand.
Submit capital authorizations to secure funding for required manufacturing equipment.
Develop manufacturing layout and manufacturing headcount plans for sustaining as well as new packages and product technology deployment;
Forecast, order, and installation coordination for manufacturing equipment.
Lead factory productivity improvement to meet production cost targets through factory performance analysis and improvement strategies.
Partner closely with Planning & Logistics, Materials, Product engineering, Process engineering, Manufacturing/Operations, Facilities/SMS to manage and improve capacity systems and business processes to meet program/platform targets.
Work with management to develop and maintain quarterly group and individual project goals to ensure IE objectives support business goals.
