Job Description:

Lead the SMT process engineering activities to meet customer requirements and improvement on quality &productivity.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Lead the deployment of processes for new product import and DFM.
2. Manage related engineering builds and qualification
3. Build a team of world class process engineers
4. Develop capability and infrastructure to ensure the continuous improvement on SMT process.
5. Drive the build process to meet target.
6. Manage and/or coordinate with a diverse set of cross-site technical contributors, including internal teams and the factory to successfully and high volume manufacturing
7. Set up processes and methodologies as necessary

Requirements:
1. 10+ years of experience with SMT process engineering for high volume consumer electronics products, prior experience with EMS field preferred
2. Must be an expert at process engineering including SMT, under fill and related.
3. Should have prior experience with process development high volume manufacturing
4. Should have prior experience with building high performance teams
5. Should be a creative thinker with fast problem solving skills
6. Candidate with a strong DFM background preferred – candidate needs to understand impact of process across the system (i.e., SMT profiles required for components as a function of their height, location on the board, etc.)
7. Prior experience with process automation is prefered
8. Prior experience building cost optimized and flexible preferred.
9. Good communicator, great team player required
10. Bachelor or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
