To KappAhl Production office in Shanghai we are now recruiting:

GARMENT TECHNICIANS
A. Kids wear – main categories: Woven, Functional Outwear, Heavy Knit and Jersey
B. Mens & Ladies wear – main categories: Heavy Knit and Jersey

Main Tasks:
1. Ensure that our suppliers understand and follow given requirements for sampling, fitting and making to reach required quality level in production
2. As a member of merchandising team ensure efficient sample handling and see to that only accurate samples is to be sent to our buying office
3. Proactively work for improvements on our products to achieve smooth production as well as to lower production costs

We Require:
1. A. more than3 years’ experience working as technician for kids wear incl. functional outwear
B. more than 3 years’ experience working with heavy knit items – factory experience is an advantage
2. High problem solving skills with a proactive approach and energy in daily work
3. Knowledge of how to amend pattern to achieve required fit
4. High sense of responsibility and honesty
5. Strong communication skill and ability to work in team
6. Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin in reading, writing and speaking

Having knowledge of European Standards for Children Safety as well as experience from working in production office for retailer is an advantage.
