Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree of leather / chemical / engineering
2. Over 3 year’s relative experience. Multinational manufactory experience is preferred
3. Familiar with mechanical manufacturing process.
4. Prefer on leather industry experienced, good eyesight.
5. Be familiar with automotive industry quality and supplier validation system, such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA
6. Must be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Good in both spoken and written English.


Responsibility:

Activity 1: Whole hide value added process, package and shipment standardization and PA study

1. Define and optimize whole hide perforation and other value-added process
2. Design whole hide packaging and labeling solution
3. Work with commercial and field quality to conduct whole hide PA study
4. Work with logistics to develop optimized whole hide shipment solution
5. Any other launch activities of whole hide business;

Activity 2: Finishing top 10 system tracking and standardization follow up

1. Work with finishing and quality team to implement finishing top 10
2. Conduct high frequency finishing FTP audit to drive continue improvement opportunities.

Activity 3: New Finishing process / equipment development
1. Initiate DFM study with cross functional team
2. New process and new equipment feasibility study, work with maintenance dept to qualify the new equipment from manufacturing capability perspective.

Activity 4: Hide size shrinkage improvement activities driving

1. Work for expected hide size shrinkage for each construction and weekly track the performance;
2. Deep analysis the hide size & shrinkage process parameters impact factors and make improvement plan for this metric;
3. Investigate the normal in-transit shrinkage , tracking shrinkage period performance by crust supplier, and react if/when a supplier exceeds the allowed limit

Activity 5: Chemical cost improvement activities driving and make BOM/Routine accuracy
1. Work with finishing team to monitor and conduct continuous chemical cost reduction project through chemical alternation and process improvement.
2. Work with finishing team to ensure BOM/routine accuracy
3. Work with PD and chemical supplier for potential chemical saving opportunities.

Activity 6: Finishing whole hides control plan, CPK and PFMEA deep involved
1. Work with finishing technical, production and quality team for whole hides PFMEA& control plan
2. Work with cutting production& quality for whole hides value-added process FMEA& control plan
3. Work with finishing quality for whole hide CPK control
