Job Description
Purpose of Position:
Sell Melexis technology and products to the customers in the respective region in accordance with the company’s targets. You have to find, manage and close business opportunities at existing and new customers in the respective area including strategic/key accounts, to be a channel for customers’ feedback and follow-up on closed-won opportunities.
Accountabilities:
? Develop and implement business plan to achieve in his/her territory, key revenues and profit goals aligned with the yearly assigned budget/quota for that territory.
? Formulate and implement proactive business development strategies and programs with the aim to promote Melexis products, increase sales and market penetration, enhance market share and accomplish the expected results.
? Ensure an efficient and effective process flow from understanding of customer requirements, product design and order processing to manufacturing, quality and customer service. Establish a working & personal relationship with major customers.
? Secure design-wins and close sales contacts.
? Support the business development work by identifying potential programs requiring the timely visit of key engineering colleagues.
? Define and coordinate sales channels by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
? Collaborate with Marketing Department in identifying new market opportunities and expanding product portfolio.
? Communicate market trends and competitive pricing information to enable Melexis to developing programs which are ahead of those of the competition.
Job Requirements
The candidate for this position should have:
? A university degree, preferably in electronics
? A minimum of 3 years experience in a Sales or Marketing position within the electronics components industry, preferably within the semiconductor industry
? Work experience in an international environment and has a minimum understanding of cultural differences that influence decision making processes
? Preparedness to travel intensively
? Fluency in English.
