Job Summary
Position is expected to provide technical support to Telematics program in the area of systems operations. The major expected result is successful monitoring and problem resolution of the production Shanghai OnStar system. The position is distinguished from others in the level of expertise that the individual will have that does not exist elsewhere in the organization.

Job Responsibilities
? Analyze key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
? Interface with external groups in regard to performance issues, change requests, system development and/or report development.
? Provide feedback to management regarding issues and exceptions that are negatively impacting key performance metrics or business goals.
? Report development and maintenance as needed for system analysis and performance measurement.
? Prepare and deliver presentation materials as needed to management.
? Design, develop, implement, and maintain desktop applications and processes to automate routine tasks as necessary to facilitate departmental activities.

Job Requirements
? Bachelors Degree (or above) in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent was Preferred
? Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area (above 3-5 years).
? Proficiency with MS Access/Office suite
? Proficiency with (Perl, UNIX, and/or windows .NET) script and/or application development and implementation of automated processes.
? Analytical skills with ability to turn data into meaningful information and present findings
? Understanding of cellular network technology, telecommunications industry, or telematics
? Experience with statistical analysis including statistical process control
? Proficiency with ReportNet/Cognos8
? Experience and Knowledge of software development processes
? Proficiency with UNIX and Windows operating systems
? Experience with 5-Phase or 8D problem solving and documentation techniques
? Proficiency using and interacting with relational database structures from UNIX and/or windows desktop (Oracle and/or SQL Server)
? SQL development skills
? Ability to work effectively independently and/or in a team environment
? Fluent communication skills both in English and Chinese
? Strong interpersonal skills
