In order to support the high speed growth, PEER China now invites high caliber personnel to take up the position of Financial Analyst. The incumbent will take finance analysis job on PEER group level and will report to the Financial Controller of PEER Group. The work location will be in Shanghai.

Job Summary

The financial analyst is expected to help improving the quality of reporting from all PEER business units through group reporting requirements, and efficient and effective communication with units and functions. Equally important, he/she is expected to assist the group controller in identifying key performance drivers, and developing corresponding reporting tools in which information could be utilized by PEER management for decision making and action taking.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare consolidated statements of management information, e.g. monthly group management report, annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast, long-term strategic plan, etc. Report timely and correctly by performing the overview check before data submission

· Identify performance drivers with guideline from the leader, design and implement key analytics and group wide standard reports, including variance to budget prior and capital. Prepare analysis for driving performance (trends, ratios, product mix, gap analysis…) via reporting tools created

· Prepare ad hoc report

· Improve the quality and effectiveness of units’ management information in work with units’ controllers and finance teams.

· Coordinate with units’ controllers in planning and implementing financial and regulatory policies

· Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as required, and other tasks assigned by leaders.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

· Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/business

· Minimum five years experience in finance or financial analysis, preferably for a manufacturing company

· Two to three years of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience in a multinational company

· Two years Big 4 experience is a plus

· Detail orientated, stable, diligent, smart and able to work under pressure

· Ability to work independently without close supervision, but a team player

· Ability to interact with colleagues from other functions

· Strong knowledge of MS office, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint

· Effective and fluent communication in oral and written English/Chinese

· ERP system experience is a plus.
