Job Description

AGES is seeking an Education Consultant who is interested in helping Chinese students and young professionals find their passion, set goals, and apply to degree programs abroad. The ideal candidate is service-minded, possesses a startup mentality, and leads through example. In addition to these qualities, a consultant must be very organized, detail-oriented, mindful of deadlines, and capable of handling multiple projects at once.

As a consultant, your responsibilities will be to run workshops with students to help them identify personally meaningful career goals, select appropriate degree programs abroad, and provide guidance through their application process. As a member of startup company, you will also receive opportunities to contribute to departments (Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, etc.) according to your skillset and personal development goals. Our current consultants have contributed in areas ranging from business development, program development, positive psychology, and HR analytics. We are looking for highly-driven individuals who wish to contribute as well as develop their skillset in a dynamic startup environment.


Qualification requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree or a master's degree in any field from a competitive college or university in North America.

· Highly analytical, data-oriented person with bias to action.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

· A commitment to excellence, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a startup environment.

Preferred qualifications:

· Proficiency in Mandarin.

· Tech-savvy with formal or informal computer science experience.

· Familiarity with undergraduate and graduate-level application procedures.

We are headquartered in Dongcheng District of Beijing.
