Reporting to:QC Supervisor
People Management Responsibility: No
Travel Required: No
Shift Required: Yes
JOB OBJECTIVES:
Hands on laboratory based role with the responsibility for providing QC service on the shift, covering all plants on site.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct quality control testing on all products manufactured by the production facilities in accordance with documented analytical test procedures.
2. Conduct regular and timely in-process quality control testing of manufactured product and advise the production department of corrections and/or adjustments required to bring chemical product within specification and to record the results within the SAP and other local systems.
3. Ensure safe working at all times by complying with all company regulations relating to EHS within the laboratory areas and other workplaces.
4. Follow 5S guideline, and maintain good housekeeping in QC laboratories.
5. Conduct laboratory test work to assist in the troubleshooting of production problems as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
6. Assist in the carrying out of production plant trials for the purpose of evaluating the manufacture of new products and/or new manufacturing processes as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
7. Record and document all test results in accordance with the requirements of the ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
8. Ensure that all-routine calibration tests are carried out on equipment used for product quality control in accordance with QMS procedures.
9. Conduct regular testing of all waste generated by the production facilities and alert the Quality manager to any results which are out of specification.
10. Carry out any other environmental and safety monitoring tests on behalf of the production department in accordance with the documented specifications and test procedures.
11. Make recommendations has how to improve QC process and services.

3. Technical & Professional Knowledge: , Basic written and spoken English, good written and oral communication skills, knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g. GC), pc skills,
