Staff Application Engineer for Power Line Communication and Metrology

Responsibilities

？ 1.Drive technical support for Tier 1 customers for Narrow Band Power Line communication (PLC) product and Metrology products. Helping customers during the design phase and later on during pilots and first deployments.

？ 2.Develop reference designs and application notes for power line communication products and metrology products.

3.Define and submit innovative technical ideas to be applied on related customer and application (New customer needs, project road map, IP's need, technical support to be deployed).

？ 4.Coordinate customer support activities with the local Field Application engineers for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers.

Mandatory Skills

？1. Narrow Band Power Line communication technologies, mainly OFDM solutions (PRIME, G3, Meters&More , etc… ). PLC Networks functionalities and typical issues.

？ 2.ARM Cortex architectures (Cortex-M3, Cortex-4, etc...) and 8051. Hardware architecture and C/C++ programming skills.

？3. Smart Meters hardware architectures, power supplies and metrology engines. Standard protocols stack (DLMS, IEC61334, etc…).

4. code development based on ARM

Preferred Skills

？ 1.CAD tools for hardware design Altium and IAR, KEIL C compilers.

？ 2.Digital Signal Processing knowledge

？ 3.Fluent in English

Education

Bachelors or Masters in Telecommunications or Electronics.

Experience

8 years or above design or application engineer.
