职位描述
Our client is one of the leading logistics and freight forwarding service providers in Europe. To cope with their expansion needs, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis in order to target new potential clients
- Genera business with new, assigned and defined customers
- Follow-up of deliveries from local and foreign suppliers up to destination
- Provider customer services to clients
- Import/Export operations management for clients
- Negotiation and handling of freight contracts
- Delivery of end-products to the customers
- On site support in logistics and import/export department of actual customers
- Training/Leading their new staff on shipping procedures
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field
- Min 4 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within Freight Forwarding Companies is a must
- Proven track record in sales with consistently meeting set targets
- Experience in customer service and sales support related
- Strong knowledge of local logistics industry with good contacts and network with shippers/accounts and carriers
- Good interpersonal skills, independent, self-starter
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and conversant in English and Mandarin is a MUST
- Good facilitator
- Immediately available will be highly preferable
