Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical support to sales of the whole FAE team
- Accompany Corporate Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers on sales appointments and/or conference calls
- Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and seminars
- Assist sales in technical development of programs, materials and sales strategy
- Complete Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, enabling Altium sales management to focus on large account opportunity expansion
- Establish and manage technical relationships with large customer accounts
- Serve as the technical leader for large-scale customer proposals
- Develop training materials and co-develop sales programs and their content, from a technical perspective
- Deliver public and private training classes onsite (and web demos)
- Provide post sales technical support and training for CAM accounts
- Provide first level support and training for new FAE’s and AE’s as needed
- Provide general product support via email, phone or user forums
- Supervise and Manage in the development of written materials such as technical notes, knowledge base articles and product training materials
- Establish, maintain and manage internal relationships with Altium Sales & Support teams
- Develop a strong working relationship, teamwork and respect with other Altium employees, teams and management.
- Contribute towards the general building up of the Altium business also outside of specific territory and team
- Attend training and keep product knowledge up to date
- Work with early product releases to understand new features and their value
- Provide or organise training and coaching as required for team members


Requirements:
? Electronic Engineering qualification preferred or equivalent experience
? 10+ years plus experience in technical/pre-sales experience
? Experience in a customer support/service environment (preferred)
? Knowledge of the electronics industry including familiarity with key issues, design processes and products
? Knowledge of PCB design, FPGA design, system design and/or embedded software development
? Fundamental understanding on Strategic Sales approach (preferred)
? PC Skills – Superior
? MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Ppt) – intermediate
? Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases – working knowledge
? Excellent working knowledge of digital electronics
? Ability to understand the needs, working conditions and expectations of electronic designers
? Altium product knowledge an advantage
? Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and conversational)
