- Background
- Ericsson Product Area Managed Services is currently looking for a new Engagement Director in - Media Broadcast. The focus of the Managed Operation Media team is to drive out-sourcing of operations and infrastructure of core broadcasters' systems.
- Ericsson has established itself as player in this area - and in order to continue to the growth the team needs to be reinforced to bring business to the next level.
- Main objective
- The Engagement Director in media broadcast will be responsible for contributing to growing Ericsson's out-sourcing business in media - lead and develop the Managed Services Sales Engagements, from joint business foundation, feasibility study, due diligence & contract negotiations.
- Tasks
- In particular the Engagement Director shall:
- Structure the complete, or major parts of the Engagement project with respect to: on time delivery, Budget costs, Resource management
- Develop the overall proposal and/or solution in alignment with Ericsson's regions and BU Global Services strategies and profitability requirements
- Establish sales strategies and tactics. Develop negotiation strategies and tactics for the entire engagement. Drive negotiation with the customer
- Participate in the development of the media broadcast offering including for example strategy development, partnering discussions and work-shops
- Drive business development activities to generate new sales leads
- Align offering with other parts within Ericsson

Qualifications
Experience
The candidate is expected to have the following experience:
- Line role experience from media and broadcasting industry
- Experience with project delivery and project management preferably from the out-sourcing industry
- A consultative approach to sales - selling business case based solutions to C-level executives
- Ideally have a good network of contacts within the broadcasting industry
- Leadership experience
- Fluent in English
