Hiring requirements
· B.S. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics from a 4 year college or university OR equivalent combination of experience.
· Generally requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience preferably in a CEM environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
· Ability to analyze data and drive to root cause. Demonstrated use of analytical tools.
· Ability to prioritize work assignments and understand customer and regulatory requirements

KEY Responsibilities
· Use professional concepts along with company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in creative, cost effective and practical ways.
o Analyze situations and/or data to resolve production and/or quality related problems.
o Monitor and creates action plans based on production metrics and trends to assure continuous improvement
o Monitor all available metric data to improve overall own products performance
o Understand 8D concepts and their use
o Support plant business needs using standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary.
o Mentor junior process engineer and technicians in the development of their job duties and skills sets in support of their daily responsibilities
o Has clear definition and understanding of all process & technical areas of the process engineering department's responsibility
·Support team in the timely production of quality product
o Maintain capacity model and identify all process gate operations
o Complete all process capability studies and develop SPC control plans as required
o Design and procure production tooling
o Complete and communicate accurate DFM analysis information on all new customer products
o Direct and execute NPI activity for assigned customer
o Participate in the coordination of line moves
o Develop wave and reflow profiles and gain and thorough understanding of the concepts and chemistries
o Ensure appropriate feeder inventory to meet the customer demand
o Assure accurate work instructions and SOP are available
o Monitor and continuously improve the daily efficiency, productivity and quality of manufacturing processes for assigned areas.
o Improve safety and throughput by modifying tooling, processing equipment and workstations.
o Understands Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques for line balancing, optimizations, etc.
o Ensure proper machine set-up methodologies are utilized (ie, family set-up, group set-up, table set-ups, etc).
o Reduce machine-generated scrap by monitoring machine management data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations.
o Reduce manual assembly scrap by monitoring quality data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations.
o Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment and tooling.
