Job Description *
?Customer Interface
? Assess the existing assembly instructions conformance, management and review.
? Lead on the product Change Management:
?ECN management, change loading as well as coordination of implementation.
?BOM management and transfer to usable format in documentation floor.
?Deviation definition and execution including part qualifications (set up and manage special part number/dash numbers (and routings) with suffixes to control movement of deviation runs).
?Rework definition and documentations.
?Product Transfers:
?Manage the 4M factor for the In and out of site or vice versa.
?Lead and coordinate the overall preparation of any product transfer.
?NPI Transfers To Mass Production:
? Work along side the NPI team for the closure of any existing open items.
? Verify and check the transfer documents and tooling.
? Assurance that all the NPI open items are closed and the yield are within defined targets.
?Coordinate Line Stops.
?Initiate problem reports, analysis, corrective actions and closure for issues impacting WIP or finished goods.
?Process coordination and definition of all item in response to the product yield.
? Demand action items closure for any SMTA yield issues.
? Provide top 5 defect assembly pareto and coordinate for the overall action item closure.
? Set up meetings, drive actions
?Lead the Defect Reduction Team (DRT) meetings with Customer
? Manage and drive the meeting content.
? Initialize and spear head data collection, analysis
? Action item tracking.
?Lead internal team to ensure support and update to all actions
?Manage Pre-DRT to insure preparedness for a successful teleconference.
?Leads on the product yield improvement.
? Use statistical tools in analyzing defect modes.
? Target should meet per the defined targets goals.
? Ensure that the product will meet the delivery schedule.
? Provide improvements on the assembly process by working with the defined SME team.
? Generate all documentation regarding product and box build assembly controls.
? Fully implementation of the process control plan and definition of the process flow.
? Provide technical evaluation for any process, chemical and product improvement with conformance from customer.
?Sustain and improve the current quality stage of the product.
? Develop the EDM cost improvements.
? Process improvements.
Job Requirements *
·Proficiency with product & process handling. Able to read mechanical drawings and customer documentation. Beable to implement and handle team for a new ECO cut-in.
·Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, or equivalent. Able to perform DFM, DOE, FMEA, and Statistical analysis to use in relation to product improvements.
·Good written and verbal communication skills.English speaking and writing is a plus. Be able to demonstrate ideas and concept to customer in both oral and written.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to follow direction with supervisors.
·Minimum of a 2-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design Technology, or related equivalent.
·Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in process development and fixture and/or machine development for production.
