质量工程师 Quality Engineer - 具备玩具、儿童产品相关经验或者具备电动产品背景

JOB SUMMARY

Quality Engineer owns the full responsibility in implementing quality requirement into New Product Development process, utilizes quality tools to develop robust –detect and eliminate potential quality problems in design stage, teamwork with PD and QC to make a smooth transition to Mass Production stage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work with Product Development team into the New Product Development process to assure
* Quality requirements (international standards, regulations, safety requirements, aesthetical requirements, etc. ) are fully and correctly addressed during the design stage;
* Conduct product safety & reliability test for both outside and factory in different NPD stage and take part in problem solving when testing failed;
* Mass production lines established with enough process capability, capacity and low cost
2. Create and maintain testing protocol
3. Make a smooth transition from Engineering stage to Mass Production stage
* Jointly create inspection instruction specification
* Documents hand over
* Communicate with QC team for product specification & Quality Requirement as well as the quality problems First lot inspection with QC together
4. Drive key suppliers implement chemical control program
5. Take any preventive actions to avoid quality problems as early as possible
6. Communicate with divisions and suppliers for quality issue.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
University Degree, with electrical or electronic background preferred
SKILLS:
1. Fluent in English (written and oral) and Mandarin (written and oral). Can read/write testing standard/protocol in English.
2. Free use of the Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
3. Good communication skills
4. Familiar with one of Children Products, Toys with related standards (ASTM F963/EN71) is a must
5. 5-year working experience in Quality related field is a must
6. Good understanding and practice on Quality prevention, Quality improvement is a must
7. Selfmotivated and must be able to work under pressure and tight schedules, with frequent traveling in China.
