职位描述:

· designing and producing visual interpretations of components using computer-aided design packages;

· deciding on the most appropriate materials for component production

· Working with FE & Concept Evaluation to optimize concepts through to proven designs

· applying mechanical, thermodynamic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical principles to resolve engineering problems and find appropriate solutions;

· building prototypes of components, developing test procedures and conducting tests using software packages and physical testing methods;

· preparing material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications;

· studying the energy, environmental and safety aspects of the planned work;

· investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems;

· liaising with suppliers, and supporting KA functions in design reviews

· All engineering activities during the CER phase of a project to ensure compliance as directed by the system engineer / team leader.

• The follow up of product performance vs. the defined targets during development projects
• Creation of component drawings, and sub assemblies from concept through to S release drawing
• DFMEA contribution by component / sub assembly as directed by system engineer / team leader.
• Design review input as directed by system engineer / team leader
• Creation of concepts, working through to full tolerance analysis to prove concept through A & B phases
• The overall performance of the component / sub assembly
• Compliance to Design process – AR-154, or as communicated via the POI / NPI / PIP process
• Review Customer Service Engineers input for advanced development projects and follow up advanced developments closing needs (gaps)

·To promote standardization and use of best design practices and continuous improvement of products working within the framework of the New Product Implementation process (NPI), or other product development process as stated within the management guidelines.

·To take part in team reviews and to use systematic problem solving (LAMDA) and prepare knowledge-driven decision making (K-Brief) for effective communication, identifying trade off curves with data as deemed applicable.

·To provide routine and consistent assessment of competitive products and technologies to support Product Roadmaps and benchmarking activities.

·To support the cross functional teams in STC in R&D phases/tasks

·compliance of processes as directed through the Management system

·To observe public law, directives, provisions and concessions with regard to health, environment and safety, and to follow agreements made with external and internal parties.

· To make an unbiased analysis of the strong and weak points of the products as well as external threats and possibilities on the basis of his/her knowledge of the future requirements of Kongsberg Driveline and the customer and the expected future position of competitors.

·To ensure on-time execution of programs and customer milestones delivery.

To carry through reengineering projects (continuous improvement and VAVE activities)。

岗位要求：

· You have an academic degree in a technical discipline, preferable Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.

· Proven track record in product development of mechanical systems and electrical systems, inside the Automotive or Truck industry, preferably in Driveline products

· You are a self-motivated pro-active team worker.

· You have an innovative and creative mindset with excellent technical skills.

· You have experience with Solid works, and / or AutoCAD

· You have excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language.

· You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.

· You have experience with Design for Six Sigma. Being a green belt is a plus.

· Special requirements:

· Deep knowledge of automotive product design and development methodologies.

· Ability to produce good written reports, and relevant presentations

· Have a good command of spoken and written language within the region employed and English.
