Experience or skills required

Essential：
? 5+ years design/drafting experience in system integration or sheet metal (indoor an outdoor cabinet, rack subracks, other customized enclosure) or machine or plastics
? Good knowledge of mathematics, engineering practices, metalic materials, and standard drawing techniques.
? Clear understanding of metal fabrication (Painting/Masking/welding/ Bending/ punching) and the ability to design product/metal parts that can be manufactured. Basic process concepts of machining and die casting.
? Ability to analysis customers specifications and from these develop cost effective / manufacturable solutions for different industrial customers.
? Ability to use 2D and 3D CAD softwares and understand geometric tolerance
? Ability to talk directly with English speaking customers and develop new ODM concept in collaboration with our customers. And ability to write in English mechanical content of product manuals (Installation manual, Maintenance manuals etc)
? Understanding of the Telecom standards and requirements (e.g ETSI, Bellcore)Ability to work independently as well as work with a team to achieve project goals.
? Initiative to acquire knowledge and skill to continuously improve job performance.
? Creative thinking and problem solving.

DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
? Ability to work out thermal Management Solution and some experience in specifying Heat Management Components will.
? Ability to use FEA software (Flotherm and Pro-mechanical).
? Experience in plastic component design (vac forming/ injection molding) and the ability to design plastic components that can be manufactured.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Create 3D models for sheet metal,machine,aluminium extrusion、plastic, etc., sub assemblies as well as drawings used in technical manuals using Pro-e software.
? Create Bill of Materials.
? Creates parts specifications into Agile system.
? Create, FMEA, concept design, design proposal for new ODM project
? Create and review design for manufacturability for OEM projects
? Support to product development, prototyping and test activity.
? Participate in complex problem solving, productivity and continual quality improvement
? Interface with outside vendors for parts development and qualification
