OVERVIEW:

Working as an implementation specialist, candidates would manage customer projects for some of the largest accounts in the area and work with our customers to develop cost savings solutions for them through our vendor managed inventory programs by identifying inefficiencies and applying lean processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Managing Customer Implementation projects from start to finish
o Leading an initial Customer implementation meeting with key stakeholders
o Conducting process mappings within customer facilities
o Creating and presenting cost savings plans to key personnel within customer facilities
o Developing Timelines, Gantt Charts, and Standard Work Practices
o Sourcing and Cross Referencing Products
o Establishing min / max / re-order and supply chain inventory models
o Implementing Customer VMI and In-plant locations
o Supporting Lean initiatives and adding value to our customers and stores

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The skills and qualifications required for this position include:

o Excellent time management and organizational skills
o Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Skills with Microsoft Project and Smartdraw are a plus but can be learned on the job
o Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
o Great English skills. Tem-6 minimum
o Lifting Requirements - Able to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh between 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.

Fastco located in Shanghai was founded in 2003 and it is the newest subsidiary of Fastenal. Fastco's primary responsibilities include sales, product sourcing, supplier development, procurement, QA/QC and logistics on behalf of Fastenal Company.
Recently Fastco opened 2 branches in Tianjin and Foshan which would focus on domestic sales. 2 representatives were found in Ningbo and Guangzhou in 2009 as well. These branches help us to get close to our vendors and customers.
