Under the direction of the Automation supervisor. To be responsible for the smooth and
uninterrupted operation of Autoliv MES (Manufacturing Execution System) including but not limited
in the application, database and the coordination with the operation department for system
administration and improvement
Assist in MES project implementation
Manage MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ensure the system is running as business directs.
Be responsible for Oracle database maintenance, tuning, backup & restoration and troubleshooting.
Be responsible for the MES server connectivity and performance with the assistance of IT engineer
Maintain the MES application infrastructure and program as required.
Act as the interface with internal users and the US MES expert to coordinate sundry activities. Provide technical support to internal users by coordinating with the US MES expert if needed.
Collect all MES related questions and seek appropriate resolution quickly. Submit the advancement plan to TE manager for system improvement.
Be responsible for any future manufacturing related IT system implementation under the supervision of IT manager.
Compile the clear work flow for MES system and any other process & technical documentation and update them accordingly.
Continuous improvement
Any other may be directed by Automation Supervisor.
Lead the MES application maintenance by close cooperation with Traceability Engineer.


Qualification:
Minimum 5 years working experience while minimum 3 years in MES system
implementation & administration and 2 years Oracle administration.
Rich IT project experience
Relevant experience on manufacturing and associated process.

Technical Skill Requirements:
Degree or professional qualifications in computer related science
Broad business analysis experience and deep understanding of the manufacturing environment from the IT view.
Extensive knowledge and experience in database administration especially on Oracle.
Experience in programming development such as VB6 or VB.net especially for the integration with production equipments preferred.
Experience in both the PCs and Server maintenance.
Good talent of general understanding and analysis.
Experience in ERP preferred.

Internal:
Liaise with Autoliv Internal users for Production system maintenance and improvement
Liaise with Autoliv Global /Regional team for efficient result.

Local IT hardware and software supplier.
Machine & Equipment supplier for process integration
