Responsibilities:

-Administer the PCs, Windows/Unix Servers and other IT Resources to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
-Implement, manage and Fine tune Backup and Disaster Recovery Procedures and make sure thay are followed.
-Plan, Coordinate and implement System upgrades.
-Proactively manage the IT resources to limit intrusion, virus/worm attacks (correct patch levels, virus protection etc).
-Install, support and maintain Operating Systems.
-Make sure that the necessary Maintenance contracts for H/W, S/W and Business Systems are effectively managed.
-Co-ordinate with the internal and external resources to ensure standards adherence and smooth operations.

QUANTITATIVE DIMENSIONS:

? A minimum of three years of large scale IT experience
? Strong knowledge in Windows servers
? Strong knowledge in Windows domain
? Strong knowledge in Virtualization based on VMWare
? Experience in Unix / Linux

? Experience in EMC SAN

? Experience in Symantec Netback

? Experience in CA Arcserve
? Experience with Monitoring, preferably with CA Unicenter/Spectrum
? Experience with virtualization technologies other than VMWare
? Experience with database systems like MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL-Server
? Foreigner or Chinese national, with a high proficiency in English
