Responsibilities:


Primary purpose is to manage and coordinate the deployment programmes / projects in the Engineering portfolio for the OUs and Capital projects. The PM will plan,control and execute a project or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value,acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills,within agreed parameters of cost,timescales and quality.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager are to:

- Takes responsibility for the definition,documentation and satisfactory completion of medium size projects.
- Identifies,assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Ensures that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost,timescale and resource budgets and are signed off.
- Provides effective leadership to the project team and takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
- Identifies mechanisms by which benefits can be delivered and measured and plans to activate these mechanisms at the required time.
- Monitors outcomes against what was predicted in the business case and ensures that operational managers and staff are informed and involved throughout the change programme and fully prepared to exploit the new operational business environment once it is in place.
- Coordinates personnel from different disciplines and with different viewpoints and leads activities required in the realisation of the benefits of each part of the change programme.
- Align deployment project objectives and priorities with the project/asset
- Support the business through the change management journey,driving the embedment of new work practises
- Coaching and support development of junior team members

Requirements:


- More than 2 years Experience in Application and Business Process Consultancy
- More than 4 years working experience managing IT business application projects
- Relevant experience in delivering small / medium scale IT projects
- Proven track delivering projects on Plan/Schedule, Budget; managing all associated risks and issues.
- Experience in and proven ability to apply industry best practice project management methodology
- Proven ability to manage successfully both IT elements and business changes
- Pro-active, with strong analytical steer and solution oriented.
- Embrace challenges and lead in times of time and cost pressure.
- Good business interfacing and stakeholder management skills, in both face to face or virtual environment
Good understanding of Engineering Discipline and Facilities Discipline
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong experience in managing teams
- working experience in upstream oil and gas industry is preferred
- Knowledgeable candidate in Engineering Information Management and Data and Document Control processes is preferred
