ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to Finance Manager, this position will be mainly responsible for tax and expense accounting of two Shanghai trading entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage two Shanghai legal entities’ tax.
-Supervise the VAT invoice issuer to ensure VAT invoices are issued on time and perform reconciliation to make sure the completeness and accuracy of VAT invoices issuance.
-Prepare and file monthly or quarterly tax filing timely to ensure tax compliance。
-Perform tax calculation and accounting entries for all taxes including VAT, VAT surcharge, income tax, stamp duty, property tax, withholding tax etc.
-Interact with tax authority for any inquiry or audit, and report on subject matters.
-Prepare GL vouchers including expense accruals, payroll, Logistic cost, ARO, etc. under group and statutory policies and regulations.
-Communicate with various departments on accurate cost recorded in the period and make sure adequate accrual is made for closing.
-Prepare share service rebilling calculations and rebilling rate update.
-Review expense to make sure the completeness and timeliness of expenses in the right period.
-Perform analysis to ensure unusual/special transactions/trends/variances are identified out and justify the reasonableness and compliance.
-Responsible for fixed assets accounting of SGCO and SHAN.
-Manage the accounting, reporting, GAAP adjustment, statutory audits and PRC to tax reconciliations for SHAN
-Responsible for full accounting and reporting for SHAN including month end closing and respond to queries from audit, tax office and statistics office.
-Ensure the integrity & accuracy of financial reporting package submission within group deadline.
-Prepare monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
-Support process improvement within finance team.
-Assist internal & external audit.
-Assist internal control testing.
-Other ad-hoc matters upon request.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
-Education Background:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration.
-CPA/ACCA/ACA/CMA or other similar certification holder preferred.
-Technical Skills:
-SAP Experience is preferred.
-Proficiency in office tools such as Microsoft Excel.
-Good command of English – written and oral.
-Strong interpersonal skill.
-Analytical skill.
-Other Experiences Preferred
-Minimum 6 years working experience in Accounting/Finance.
-Experience in month end and year end closing.
-Experience in preparing VAT filing, and Statutory Audit/CIT Return.
