Description

The Region WFP SME partners with the Region Leadership team and HR BP to guide and manage the overall workforce planning activity and recommends workforce actions in support of the region business goals and enhanced business performance.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Major areas of responsibility include:
· Engages with region leadership team to participate in business planning activities.
· Provides workforce planning advice and recommendations.
· Uses workforce analytics and reporting to influence business decisions.
· Analyzes business performance aligned to workforce changes to isolate problem areas and recommend solution options.
· Actively participates as an SME in the WFP Community of Practice.
· Oversees the implementation of new workforce processes and tools.

· Positions workforce planning as an integral and valued part of managing the business
· Uses best in class WFP processes and analytics effectively
· Contributes to the development of global consistent practices
· Results in positive business improvement through application of WFP process and tools.
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
· Engages with region leadership team to participate in business planning activities.
· Participates with HR BP and region leadership team in growth planning, focusing on the competence and resource gap identification, analysis and action planning. Translates the growth plan gaps into a workforce plan, continuously updated through regular tactical planning and resulting calibration.
· Provides workforce planning advice and recommendations.
· As a subject matter expert in workforce planning, provides innovative workforce solutions to address business issues. Advises the business on what workforce levers can be used and business outcomes they should expect as a result.
· Uses workforce analytics and reporting to influence business decisions.
· Leverages and prepares reports and analytics that can make visible trends and data points that identify areas of focus, demonstrate the impact of workforce actions and lead to informed decisions. Reviews analytics with the leadership team, facilitates dialogue and recommends workforce actions and innovative solutions.
· Analyzes business performance aligned to workforce changes to isolate problem areas and recommend solution options.
· Correlates business performance indicators and trends with those of workforce to identify patterns that hone in on areas where workforce actions will directly address specific business performance problems. Brings together workforce models and strategies to address problem areas and drive a plan of course correction.
· Actively participates as an SME in the WFP Community of Practice
· Encourages the creation of best practices by actively participating in Community of Practice activities. Attends discussion groups, presents new thought on WFP discipline, creates/posts white papers and articles as appropriate. Leverages thought leadership inside and outside of the Company, applies to daily work and shares with greater community.
· Oversees the implementation of new workforce processes and tools.
· Oversees the implementation of WFP programs throughout the region. Monitoring the usage of those standards and procedures, ensuring they are consistently applied. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies.

Qualifications

Ericsson (functional area):
· Knowledge of HR Processes & Disciplines
· Breadth and depth of expertise in Workforce Planning
Ericsson (none functional area):
· Programme and Project Management
· Business Acumen/Business Performance Management
· Facilitation and Presentation Skills
Qualifications:
Degree in HR, Business or related discipline, Master of Business Administration or related
