Description
1.Be the Head of the pre-sales and delivery
› During the Pre-Sales activities, the PD will be the head of a team responsible for
– Overall solution;
– Overall cost estimation
– Delivery model (mix of on-shore, near-shore and off-shore resources)
– Contractual content (excluding the legal and the commercial terms&condition)
› The pre-sales deliverable will be given to the KAM who is accountable of the sales.
› Once the deal is won, the PD will be the head of the delivery, till the complete fulfillment of the contract, ensuring so the continuity from the pre-sales to the delivery.
2. Become an Ericsson Agent at Customer site
› The PD has to build a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level, SVP or VP for all the potential departments (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care etc.).
› The PD is daily present at customer site, becoming a sort of Ericsson “agent” at customer premise to increase the customer’s trust on Ericsson as system integrator.
› The PD is also able to catch up-sales opportunities.
3. Help Ericsson in building the C&SI culture
› The PD is a main contributor to the Ericsson C&SI culture growth and to the delivery methodology fine-tuning.
› The PD supports in asset and organization set-up and growth, exploiting his/her experience as well as harvesting the reusable best practices from the program he/she drives.
› The PD coaches his team, supports them for the professional growth, and identifies and recognizes the talents.
Qualifications
- The main focus will be the maintenance of the cost forecasted during the pre-sales phase, ensuring the target-margin
The main focus will be to build a long term relationship with the Customer, based on trust, in order to improve the recognition of Ericsson as a System Integrator
The main focus will be to contribute to the growth of Ericsson as a SI and to build a knowledge and assets base useful for Ericsson worldwide
The Six Pillars
› A Program Director is able to build a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc.). She/ He is daily present at customer site and has strong communication skills.
› A Program Director knows what she/he is talking about. A Program Directors is not general-purpose, but she/he has a strong background in the domain she/he is assigned to (BSS, OSS with specific technology – see technology ecosystems slides), as well as Telco industry acumen and strong understanding of Telco Business Processes and complex organizations.
› A Program Director has a proven track of successful delivery project. She/he has been the head of complex transformation delivery project, leading a team of more than 20 people in a multicultural environment and with a off-shore/on-site delivery model.
› A Program Director is willing to help and coach his team, to interact with them and to support them for the professional growth. She/He has experience in asset and/or organization set-up and growth.
› A Program Director has deep exposure on solution shaping and in sales activities (Statement of Work, estimation tools, contractual negotiation, scope refinement), as well as scope and change request management.
› A Program Director should be ready to work and potentially to be re-located in any Country, not only within the Region he will be assigned to. The role of Program Director requires extended travel, long term assignment and a full time presence on the project she/he is responsible of.

Order Management (Telcordia/Workdirector,Oracle OSM7, Metasolv, Comptel/Axiom, NetCRaker, Sigma systems)
