We currently have a vacancy for a Solution Architect within CD and SSDO IP/BB/CORE of RENA.

The role is responsible for driving and developing an end-to-end solution approach for mobile broadband solutions for 2G/3G and LTE. The focus is to drive quality-of-service value propositions in mobile broadband networks involving policy control, deep packet inspection, IP technologies and IMS.

The ideal candidate is a self starter and able to take initiative, consultative and communicative in nature and has excellent leadership skills.

This position is based in Bei Jing of China and is available only on a local employment basis. In this instance we are not able to consider LTA or STA employment engagements.

Activities will include:
Act as the technical lead/CSR leading virtual teams
Adopt a systems integration mindset and approach towards solution and project scoping
Engage at both a high-level (C level) and working-level within the customer environment to deliver our value propositions
Take an active part in the knowledge sharing communities.



Qualifications

Be able to travel internationally with short notice in line with business requirements
Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
To be considered for this opportunity it is expected you will have at least 3 years' of solution design and/or implementations as an end-to-end solution architect/ or Senior or Principle level Service Engineers

You have experience in working with Packet Core, IP solutions and IMS solutions, including SASN, SAPC, MME, EPC and the broadband portfolio. Experience working with the RAN and Circuit Switched portfolio is also an advantage. Experience with ericsson is also an advantage

Ideally you will be Cisco(Juniper/huawei) certified with MPLS experience in an ISP, mobile or equivalent network.

You are a confident and experienced presenter with strong skills in communications and documentation. You possess excellent customer and stakeholder management skills and have the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
