Purpose:
This position focus on product packaging approval in Design graphics, review and communicate Delta Requirements with supplier for product packaging approval, also include trouble shoot to packaging issue.

Responsibilities:
61 Work with the internal departments to define package design requirements and communicate to the supplier.
61 Provide all the needed information to the supplier to design the package.
61 Review supplier packaging design to drive standardization in sizes, material and design.
61 Design package graphics and provide to the supplier.
61 Review and test package sample from the supplier.
61 Troubleshoot packaging problems involving designs, materials and processes and provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
61 Review and Approve supplier package along with Product Engineer through PAR.
61 Participate in generating specifications and instructions for packaging as a member of Delta Packaging Group.
61 Work with Value Management Engineering to identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation and storage.

Education & Experience:
61 Bachelor’s degree or above in Packaging Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
61 At least 5 years of experience in designing and engineering corrugate packaging solutions for industrial applications
61 Good knowledge of packaged transit testing standards (ISTA, ISO, ASTM, etc.)
61 Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
61 Familiarity with graphic design software Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
