Purpose/Role Summary:
Product Engineering is responsible for providing technical solution and mechanical feasibilities study for products development and validation, reporting to Product development manager.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for normal level difficult design evaluation & product development
2. Generate Design requirements, review product design, for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and related industry and plumbing specifications
3. Work on new product development and launches in accordance to Delta established stage gate process and standard methodologies
4. Work with cross functional team members, for product & process validation, and project status communication
5. Assess new manufacturing technologies for possible integration into existing products and manufacturing processes
6. Support post-sale service, design improvement, value management & commodity related activities
7. Involve for process improvement

Critical Skills/Knowledge
1. Candidate has 5+ years’ experience in product development, has demonstrated mastery in manufacturing processes, product design, material science, and etc.
2. Experience in Kitchen & Bath relevant Products Development is must.
3. Experience with design for manufacturability, DFMEA, PPAP and verification and validation testing are required. Be familiar with Cre-o, Pro/E, GD&T knowledge.
4. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to handle a variety of tasks.
Ability to work on multiple projects and be able to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
5. Good written and oral English communication skills. Articulate strong relational skills and the ability to communicate successfully across all levels of the organization.
6. Experience with manufacturing processes including but not limited to: machining, stamping, forging, brass/zinc/aluminum casting, hydroforming, welding (laser/TIG/MIG), and etc.
