Job Summary:
As a Sr. Retail User Support Rep, you will be working in a team of IT professionals supporting the retail business on a global level. You will identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and solve incidents on range of IT topics regarding Point of Sale, store network infrastructure, store back office operational appliances both on hard- and software level.
Together with the team you will be working on IT projects implanting or enhancing technologies which will serve the retail business better.
Primary Job Duties:
Global tier 2 support:
· Support global retail stores on IT related issues and questions.
· Resolve retail system incidents reported by head office departments.
· Maintain existing retail systems.
· Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
· Coordinate with 3rd parties to ensure SLA met.
System rollout:
· Perform retail system and hardware installations in new locations.
· Test and implement new technologies or hardware for retail.
Knowledge base management:
· Document solutions and support procedures.
· Compile technical and end user manuals.
Cellular network management
· Monitor global store cellular usage.
· Partner with varies teams to solve high cellular usage cases.
· Optimize failover network configuration.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education:
· Diploma in Computing, College degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience:
· 3 years of experience in an IT related work environment. Retail is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong knowledge on Windows 10, Windows Server; Office 365, remote support application, ticketing system. POS knowledge is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of MS SQL
· Good understanding of network technologies: firewall, routers, switches, TCP/IP. Cisco Meraki is a plus.
· Fluent in English.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated problem solving skills required.
· Proactive thinking, ability to work under pressure and deadlines with accuracy.
· Able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
Travel Requirements:
· Being able to travel to the stores for on-site support
