Summary
Assist in EHS manager or site/project manager to manage site EHS activities
Duties and Responsibilities
(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list)
Main areas of responsibilities are:
Coordinate EHS activities on site.
Conduct EHS introduction and training to new starters to the project so that they are acquainted with safety requirements, safe work practices, and procedures.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable EHS requirements.
File EHS performance reports, and other EHS reports as required by project.
Advise Site/Project Manager of hazardous conditions/concerns or near-miss incidents.
Assist in facilitating and/or conducting accident/incident investigations.
Verify and update all required EHS postings, warnings and signs applicable to the project work/hazards.
Verify that all personnel who must enter controlled areas are qualified to do so.
Verify that emergency numbers, including physicians and hospital locations, are valid and posted, and these emergency services have access to the field site.
Prevent and correct safety and health issues through job safety / risk analysis.
Collect and report safety performance data and statistics.
Establish construction safety training requirements and training materials.
Ensuring contractors and workers maintain safety awareness at all times.
Implementing safety programs for the project.
Conduct site EHS audit according to the arrangement
Assist to manage the electronic EHS platform
Knowledge & Skills
● Law and Government — Knowledge of EHS laws and legal requirements
● Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

● EHS Problem Solving: Defect analysis and prevention

● Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
● Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards — Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
● Communicating with Persons Inside or Outside the Organization — Providing information to persons inside or outside the organization by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Representing the organization to external customers and governmental agencies.
● Good relational skills.
Qualifications
● Education :
o College or Bachelor’s degree required
● Previous experiences
o A minimum of 3-5 years of work-related site EHS management skill, knowledge or experience
o Safety License holders are mandatory
o Foreign company or JV company experiences are preferred
o Willing for travel domestic and overseas.
● Languages
o English speaking is preferred.
