Technical Designer Responsibilities:
1. Collaborating with designers, vendors, and production teams to ensure that product specifications are viable.
2. Creating and maintaining detailed tech packs with garment measurements, graded specs, technical sketches, and constructions.
3. Collaborating with Design to determine fit and aesthetics.
4. Evaluating and inspecting fit samples to ensure that they are conform to company standards & requirements.
5. Implementing changes and corrections in specifications and constructions.
6. Resolving and communicating fit and construction issues with headquarter and factories within approval timelines.
7. Developing, issuing and amending technical packages.
8. Creating and issuing standard graded specs in preparation of bulk production.
9. Measuring fit samples for approval and conducting fitting with live model.
10. Utilizing digital photos and technical sketches to effectively communicate with vendors and headquarter.
11. Conducting quality/returns/fit analysis of repeat items and presenting results & solutions.
12. Staying up to date with the latest techniques in the development of garments.

Technical Designer Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in fashion, technical design, or a related field.
2. 10+ year’s experiences for similar position in US market (women’s wears), including 5+ years’ experiences for senior role.
3. Solid knowledge and over 5 years experiences with patternmaking(knits & woven), practical experiences with software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and others is an advantage.
4. 3D pattern correction capability is a plus definitely.
5. Capability to justify design changes and ability to achieve with inputs.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Deadline-driven and committed to quality.
8. Proficient English both in written and verbal communications.
