Job Responsibilities    
- Member of Competence Center Consumer Care with focus on regional and global product development of silicone-based products for hair care, skin care as well as household care.
- Design/implement fundamental research and product development through literature/experiments to meet customer needs.
- Prepare scientific reports. Collect/analyze/archive data from literature/experiments.
- Maintain/develop current company intelligence for value creation through patent applications. 
- Maintain samples, equipment, furniture, and operational procedures.
- Meet the requirements of IMS/ISO and EHSS standards.
Qualifications Required    
- Master degree, PhD preferred.
- Major in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, materials science, or/and chemical engineering.
- At least 3 years of R&D related working experience in polymer research or/and development (0-3 years if PhD). Experience in scale-up is a plus. Experience in emulsion or/and surfactant is a plus. Experience in cosmetic or/and household care industries is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of silicone chemistry, hair/skin care, or/and bio-based materials is a plus.
- Pronounced practical lab skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Soft skills: Intercultural competence, transparent communication, open mindset, pro-activity, persistence.
