About this opportunity
We are now looking for a senior global customer support engineer for Ericsson’s transport product. The major responsibility of this role is to tackle and resolve product and network problems reported from customer network.
In this role, as PDU technical representative towards customer, you will typically interact with customer support engineer and service delivery manager in local Ericsson organization as well as customer technical staff. As part of PDU organization, you will work, collaborate, and connect with R&D engineers for RCA and solution identification.
You will require broad and in-depth technical knowledge, covering software, hardware, and network knowledge. Soft skill (communication, leadership, negotiation) is equally important to this role. The role more than often requires you to tackle big responsibility and it is important that you can work independently.
What you will do
Lead technical investigation for customer support request (CSR) with coordinating R&D and local Ericsson organization.
Analyze problems and identify suitable solution to make customer satisfied.
Developing and maintaining relationships with local Ericsson organization and customer
Sharing customer’s view to product development organization for continues product quality, debuggability and usability improvement.
Proactively sharing the knowledge and experience to internal and external organization.
You will bring
Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
More than 5 years technical working experience in Microwave domain
Very good knowledge of Microwave product and network
Good knowledge of IP network
Very good English skill in listening, speaking, writing and reading, be able to work in an international environment.
Very good communication, leadership, and negotiation & argumentation skills
Working in collaborating and supporting mentality
Having good knowledge of Ericsson Microwave and Router product.
