Role Scope:

The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible to drive process optimization through the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions. The Data Analytics Engineer will also coordinate problem solving processes to identify and prioritize solutions ensuring and measuring business impact.

 Key responsibilities:

• Understand overall business needs and “Translate” into advanced analytics (AA) language.
• Drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve quality and response of our machine learning solutions.
• Turn prototypes and concepts into working, production-rate, machine learning solutions at scale.
• Coordinate problem solving sessions with subject matter experts and data scientists to create and improve analytics models
• Drive digital mindset within the organization
• Build dashboards, user interfaces

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical / Process Engineering)  
• At least 5 years prior experience in production processes
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Experience in working with large datasets, relational databases (SQL), and distributed systems (Hadoop, Hive) preferred.
• Fluent in English
• Available to travel up to 20-40% of the time

Training / Certifications:

• Data Scientist Advanced
• 6 sigma green belt certification
