Senior Auditor – Environmental &  Social Compliance(服装/纺织）
    

    
Job description
Perform on-site audits (with  focus on environment in wet facilities but also social in garment mills)
Prepare extensive evaluations  and audit reports in English
Prepare audit plans and  execute them in an effective and efficient manner
Follow-up of agreed  improvements and corrective measures, as well as documentation of the progress
ETP evaluations and assessments
Perform various chemical  & environmental assessments, e.g., CMA, ZDHC, amfori BEPI, etc. at Tier 1  & 2 suppliers and social assessments e.g., amfori BSCI, SA8000, SMETA, etc.
Evaluation of input  chemicals of Tier 2 suppliers
Evaluation and assessments  of (M)SDS
Conduct Root Cause Analysis in  case of any RSL failure
Handling of chemical &  environmental platforms, e.g., amfori BEPI, The BHive, etc.
Approve ZDHC testing reports  and provide technical support to wet processing facilities if needed
Handling of amfori Sustainability  Platform
Develop and implement new  strategies related to social compliance
Enforce the implementation  and adherence of our CR Agreement along the supply chain
Implement new requirements/laws/regulations  throughout the supply chain
Conduct social &  environmental training sessions internally and for our suppliers in China
Follow and use updated audit  procedures, documents, policies, and client requirements
Review client new requirements/laws/regulations  and implement them throughout the supply chain
                                                                            
Educational  requirements
Master’s degree preferably  in environmental science or chemistry alternative in textile engineering with a focus  on environmental & chemical management, ETPs and social compliance or  comparable.
        
Job requirements
At least 5-7 years of  professional experience in the textile industry
Auditing experience  preferably from auditing companies especially in ISO14001, ZDHC, Higg FEM,  SA8000, BSCI
Profound knowledge in the  field of legal compliance, human rights, labour practices, occupational health  & safety
Profound knowledge in the  field of environment, chemicals/chemical management, ETPs
Profound knowledge of  textilemanufacturing processes including wet processes (dyeing, printing,  washing) and of the textile supply chain
Knowledge of the risk of  manufacturing associated with the different processes of chemical products used  in the textile industry
Knowledge of water and  energy consumption
Strong knowledge oflocal  laws, e.g., China Labor Law
Strong knowledge about  international standards ILO core labour, UN universal declaration of human  rights, UN convention on the rights of the child
Relevant industry-recognisedlead  auditor training
Strong knowledge of  environmental rules and regulations
Strong knowledge about  environmental & chemical parameters, assessments
Ability to analyse processes  and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions  and strategies
Excellent computer skills in  a Microsoft Windows environment including Excel
Time and project management  skills
Willingness to travel
Good interpersonal and  intercultural skills
Team worker with proven  ability to work independently
Quick grasp and analytical  mindset
