The Technical Content Specialist will work to create and maintain accurate technical content for suppliers, products, and applications represented in marketing materials and on the Mouser website and provide support to the Marketing team in the assigned region.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Responsible for content on product, applications, and technology sites, product advertisements, and marketing materials; creation of technical articles to be used in marketing materials and third party media sites; completion of assigned reference design and research projects. Researches, reviews, and subscribes to supplier's new product and technology announcements. Actively pursues information on electronics industry trends and technology.
· Development of Technical content related to technical articles, product advertisements, PR and social media.
· Supports with development of results-oriented marketing strategies and programs.
· Responsible for written content on all direct customer communication, both electronic and print.
· Supports initial drafts, editing, and approval for all product specific advertisements and press releases.
· Supports Mouser trade shows and supplier events, conferences, seminars. Conducts technology training and organizes industry seminars on recent trends and industry topics.
· Works with Internet Business to improve SEO by improving technical content and the use of keywords, based on product and technologies.
Supports and participates in company total quality process, establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates, represents the company in a professional manner and maintains confidentiality

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
· Exhibits profound knowledge of electronic components.
· Creative writing, proofreading and editing skills.
· Working knowledge of effective layout and graphic presentations.
· Ability to manage multiple departmental activities and to work under tight deadlines.
· Exhibits strong analytical and organizational skills; detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.
· Analyzes impact of decisions before execution.
· Fluent in English and the local language as a minimum; excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette. Able to communicate with people at all levels.
· Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others.
· Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
· Professionalism to interface directly with business contacts and represent the company.
· PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other software.
· Able to work with minimum supervision and make independent judgments.
· Suitable portfolio of previous creative writing and Marketing ads.

Requirements
· Degree from 4 year College/University or above in Electronics, Semiconductor Science , Communications, Marketing. Must have extensive knowledge of the electronic component industry
· Web content creation is highly desirable. Must be able to translate technical content from local into English Language
· 4+ years experience in marketing, electronic component industry in assigned region, 2+ years experience in creative or technical writing in a technology industry experience required.
