Reports to Operations Excellence Manager
Location: Shanghai or Zhangjiagang, China
Key accountabilities
？ Recommend proper risk assessment methodologies according to the properties and complexity of projects/programs
？ Assess and recommend proper risk assessment software for semi-quantitative and quantitative methodologies according to legislation and standards
？ Assist preparing work for risk assessment according to request
？ Perform and facilitate risk assessment for various projects/programs
？ Take part in terminals’ risk assessment activities according to request
？ Review and comment various risk assessment reports according to request according to latest international and local legislation and standards
？ Assess and comment the leveraging of effectiveness and investment of mitigating measures
？ Interpret risk assessment report and convert recommendations into executive actions according to request
？ Involve into project design at earlier stage and comment to process and instrumentation design to achieve front-end benefits
？ Coordinate and communicate with 3rd party company to ensure the smooth proceeding of risk assessment activities
？ Assist explanation to project owner, design institute, engineering company and construction company etc. according to request
？ Perform works in accordance with Company Procedures, standards, specifications and any regulations
？ Establish local know-how through sharing with other / new terminals/projects
？ Taking role as facilitator for small risk assessment programs

Education and Experience
？ Minimum 5 years Process and/or Mechanical experience in chemical & petrochemical projects
？ Minimum 3 years risk assessment experience in qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative risk assessment
？ Experience in international company is a plus
？ Good understanding of international and local legislations
？ Good knowledge on risk assessment methodologies and tools such as QRA, HAZOP, LOPA, What-if, FMEA etc.
？ Good knowledge on process, P&ID and process control, etc.
？ Good knowledge of Static/ rotating equipment such as tanks, pumps, loading arms and compressors, etc.
？ Good skills on troubleshooting, analytical, communication and coordination
？ Computer skills with office software and risk assessment software
？ Shall be very commutative and pro-active
？ Good verbal and written communication skill, both in English and Mandarin.
