KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be responsible for engineering, installation, qualification, start-up the automation systems for automated utility (SCADA, BMS, EMS), process equipment during project execution phase. System will be PLC, SCADA, and PC based.
• maintaining, and troubleshooting the automation systems for automated utility (SCADA, BMS, EMS), process equipment during operation. 
• Perform system administration (access control, software revision control, back-up and recovery), and troubleshooting for malfunctioning systems. 
• Responsible for reviewing functional specifications for both hardware and software for new automated utility, process equipment. 
• Should be capable of preparing a preferred vendors list for control system hardware. 
• Generate user requirement specifications for control systems.
• Provide support for engineering and design of automated systems
• Prepare risk assessments for automated systems
• Review qualification protocols of automated systems.
• Prepare Change Controls associated with changes to control systems
• Support the execution of the qualification of automated control systems.
• Understand PLC based controllers and functionality
• Troubleshoot on low voltage control wiring
• Responsible for specifying and troubleshooting instrumentation.  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, with a minimum of 5-7 years of engineering and/or operation experience performing automation and controls activities within a pharmaceutical environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of infrastructure of control system
• Understanding and feedback of Input / Output control sequence. Understanding of PLC logic, control loops and sequencing.
• Basic understanding of sequel servers and databases as well as networking is preferred.
• Confident in configuring Excel spreadsheet, spreadsheet functions and automated calculations.
• Familiarity with current industry practices and guidelines including those required / outlined by the NMPA, EMEA, FDA, ISO and ICH etc.
• Proven team work spirit and active contribution to the team’s performance
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong communication capability
