Duties and responsibilities
1. Promote Survitec HSE programs across the country, augmenting these with local policies and procedures where needed
2. Ensure Survitec meets all HSE regulatory and corporate compliance requirements in your country, both proactively tracks legislation updates and through an audit program
3. Organize, carry our regular review on the compliance to applicable local regulations codes and Survitec group guideline and requirements including obtaining and updating the EHS relevant permits and licenses.
4.Coach, drive and lead your organization to achieve set targets and continuously develop people competences.
5. Organize, develop, and regularly review the site Safety Management Procedures, Standard Operation Process (SOP) and Emergency Response Procedures (ERP), in compliance with the applicable regulations & codes and Survitec requirements.
6. Organize, carry out Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), and makes sure the control measures, esp. for significant risks and major hazard installations, are implemented as necessary.
7. Monitor the HSE performance in the sites: by organizing regular inspections and audit, maintaining and analyzing trends of indicators including unsafe behavior, unsafe situations and incidents, facilitate the management review, propose and take measures for improvement where necessary: Ensure all accidents and near-misses be reported and investigated, to define the root cause and corresponding measures to prevent recurrence. Reporting to the enforcing authority and Survitec as required.
8. Implement Emergency Response Procedure and monitor its effectiveness by undertaking drills on site with appropriate frequency.
9. Promote and coordinate the integration of environmental sustainability issues into policies, rules, products, services and operations, e.g. energy saving or water resource conservation, by developing and implementing practical and efficient measures:
10. Contact point of the site with other stakeholder entities, including authorities and Survitec internal organizations including inspection, audits, submission and follow up of specific reports as applicable.
11. Collaborate across departments to provide EHS expertise

Skills, Experience, and Qualification
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
2. 5 years of responsibilities in environmental, health and safety programs
3. Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar accredited EHS management systems
4. Experience leading change in multiple site environment and managing direct reports
5. Proactive, assertive, strong sense of urgency to problem solving
6. Native Chinese speaker. Outstanding spoken and written English
7. Marine background preferred
