Summary
EyeBuyDirect is seeking a dynamic individual to add to the success of our Data Team as a Data Scientist, reporting to Data Manager. The Data Scientist is responsible for driving modelling, analytics and data innovation across the areas such as digital marketing, customer insights and intelligence and customer predictive analytics.
Responsibilities
? Act as domain expert in area of advanced analytics and predictions
? Help to drive business success via data product and solutions to optimize business operations
? Identify, design and develop data science(DS) related business opportunities in customer personas, customer insights and customer predictive areas.
? Collaborate with data engineers and business team to evaluate and implement DS deployment and establish best practice around DS.
? Execute DS lifecycle from ideation and hypothesis generation, data extraction and exploration, model building and validation, results communication, and productization to optimize go-to-market strategy.
? Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, ad targeting, channel attribution, NLP and other business outcomes.
Requirements
? Master degree or above in computer science, applied mathematics or statistics, operational research and AI/ML etc.
? Minimal 3 years experiences in B2C industry
? Practical experiences in data architecture, data modeling and analytics
? Practical experiences in development of data quality and data standards
? Familiar with end-to-end data life cycle management
? Significant project experience in applying data science to support business function such as Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Intelligence etc.
? Have variety commercial or academic experience of developing data science solutions using R and Python with several years of experience using AWS/Google Cloud Platform stack, experience on AWS sagemaker will be a big bonus
? Have hands on experience with the big data stack, SQL and NOSQL stores
? Business facing with strong business analysis skill
? Excellent communication skills
? Fluent in English
? Ability to work in fast paced environment and shift gears quickly
