Title: Supply Chain Coordinator - S. China 供应链专员
Location: Bunzl Shenzhen
Support and Guidance from Bunzl International Services North America
Key Responsibilities /主要职能
-Follow up new orders on a daily basis and getting the confirmed cargo ready date or ship date from vendors. Finalized ETD/ETA based on cargo ready date and carrier sailing schedule and update to the parties concerns.
-Work with vendors on a weekly basis for the status of all the open orders. Having them achieve our required ship date. Keeping the parties concerned posted for any early or delay shipment
-Maintain orders report by adding or removing new orders or shipped orders. Update ETD/ETA as well as other shipping information. Assist in on fixing problems as to export customs clearance, transportation, etc.
-Send accurate booking instruction to vendors and supervise local logistics so as to insure the container catch the scheduled vessel
-Tracking the status of container shipping and advise corresponding parties if there’s any issues
-Insure venders send us all the shipping docs (loading sheet, packing list, commercial invoice, B/L, etc) at higher accuracy as well as in a timely manner.
-Audit all the shipping docs and sending accurate ones to corresponding parties
-Helping vendors to resolve any problems related transportation or logistics at origin
-Coordinates logistics activities / issues with internal colleagues and external customers as well as other parties concerned.
-Sending rolling forecast to carriers and freight forwarders on weekly basis, support Transportation Analyst to work with origins and carrier’s sales team in U.S. to fix space issue.
-Assist in negotiating new & existing rates (FCL/LCL ocean freight, air freight) with steamship lines or freight forwarders, including terms, conditions, etc according to delivery service requested by customers.
-Maintains transportation report accurately, creates related reports if needed
-Assist in audit of the rates in the carrier’s service contract to ensure they’re consistent with the ones quoted in the email.
-Assist in audit of transportation invoices to ensure that correct charges have been applied.
-Perform pricing requests with consideration to service, and capacity needs
-Track carrier service performance to ensure it meets business needs and that selected carriers continuously improve their service
-Proactively support Bunzl USA on miscellaneous tasks related to international transportation for potential new business opportunity.
-Daily contact with USA counterpart or other party concerned and achieve daily work in most efficient and effective manner.
-Performs other duties and assistance as required.
Personal characteristics:
College degree desired. Major courses in Logistics, supply Chain management or related fields is preferred
Possess well developed communication skills, as there is a requirement to communicate at multiple levels both internally and externally, exercising influence to gain support and assistance.
Ability to function at all times, even when under pressure, whilst at the same time ensuring that objectives are met.
Successful experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
A clear logical and innovative thinker.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Good level of English language/ speaking / written required.
Good office computer skills.
2 – 3 years progressive responsibility in Transportation, Logistics
Experience in similar role is preferred.
Married with children is preferred.
