Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assess in auditing & qualifying new suppliers.
2. Review and make recommendations for quality assurance policies, guidelines, and process improvements to optimize sourcing operation and efficiency
3. Document China QC procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QC metrics
4. Promote and support OTC requirements and expectations with vendors. Create, manage, maintain, and distribute supplier quality scorecard and audits database.
provide on the job training to vendors. Analyze data, manage the on-going vendors’ & factories quality performance, and follow up on issues. Ensure manufacturers can deliver product that meets the specifications and quality of the brand image.
5. Ensure products samples meet specifications and end consumer’s expectations
6. Identify opportunities for cost and quality optimization and margin enhancement throughout the supply chain.
7. Assist China & US offices Sourcing teams in project implementations while meeting all quality standards
8. Identify and communicate issues and bring them to resolution.
9. Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
10. Must be able to travel nationally and internationally.
Education and Experience:
1. A 4-year college degree, preferably in QA or other Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years in quality control and one to two years experience in national chain catalog or retail chain.
2. Knowledge of import/export manufacturing relationships including quality control, AQL sampling, testing processes and programs and logistics.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are also required.

· Accomplish goals through partnerships built on mutual trust, fairness, integrity and honesty.
· Partner and negotiate effectively with vendors, factories, regulatory agencies and internal OTC associates
· Understand and communicate with a diverse set of business partners at various levels and within various functional areas
· Manage multiple responsibilities with the talent to shift center of focus from one task to another with minimal challenge.
· Customer-oriented, analytical skills necessary
· Advanced computer skills are required including MS Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize internal applications.
