Responsibility to develop and execute regional and local Procurement and Supplier Strategies for specific spend categories within Region and in alignment with Global Category Manager (GCM), regional plants and markets. Establishing Cost optimization- and innovation management while considering Sourcing resilience to contribute to the bottom-line impact of the organization.

Securing optimal internal customer support as well as procurement activities for direct material and services in order to guarantee smooth production and sales.
Supports the compliance of procurement processes and -policy enforcement within assigned area of responsibility. An important focus lies on a professional interaction with Suppliers in respect of compliance which includes our strong commitment to fulfill environmental, health and sustainability criteria.
Key Tasks & specific challenges
1.Manage category by ensuring high quality, innovation and market intelligence across spend area securing availability of goods and services.
2.Developing and executing professional sourcing strategies for the assigned spend categories within regional scope and/or local as well as executing constant market observation on price-, supplier-, market- product development and innovation. Align strategy with global category manager for global spend categories.
3.Execution of Contract- and Supplier relationship management including supplier development and innovation
4.Consolidates requirements and demands in category management from plants & markets as input for global category strategies. Ensures top-down and bottom-up alignment.
5.Build working relationships with key stakeholders, other category teams, suppliers and external partners.
6.Lead strategic sourcing projects, which secure the goods, works and services that most appropriately identify the addressed needs of the customers and users whilst ensuring value for money, compliance with relevant policy and procurement legislation and generating cashable and non-cashable efficiencies throughout the life of contracts.
7.Executing professional tenders (RFx) including establishing and negotiating contracts according to the defined sourcing strategy for a specific spend category
Requirements
