The position is to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to create and work on a strategy for continuous improvement across Asia Pacific Region which aligns with corporate objectives and the existing manufacturing model.
Responsible for driving the activities for continuous improvement of APAC region by deploying lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies and applying the best practices and the best available process technologies.
This position will coordinate with Process Technology team and Capital Project team to provide reginal process engineering support for projects development and resolving engineering problems.
The core competencies of the role include process development, process engineering, and process digitalization.
Responsibilities
Responsible for creating and working on a strategy for continuous improvement in Process Engineering, Process Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Debottlenecking and Cost Reduction.
Coordinate with Process Technology team and Capital Project team to provide regional support on continuous improvement projects in process engineering, development of process technologies and engineering problems solving to achieve optimized plant production target in a safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally acceptable manner.
Benchmark the current performance of the process with continuous efforts to review and update the benchmark.
Promote production excellence by assessing and applying the best available proven technology and practices or standard indicators.
Driving energy efficiency in processing technologies.
Responsible for enhancing the capability of process engineering on manufacturing sites.
Essential Qualifications
Strong capability in process engineering or chemical engineering/manufacturing with minimum 10 years of applicable experience.
Strong knowledge or work experiences in continuous improvement. Experience in lean manufacturing and six Sigma is a plus.
Knowledge on plant automation and digitalization.
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in an applicable technical discipline, advanced degree is a plus.
Competent English with strong capability in speaking and writing and Fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
