Responsibility:
This opening is a position within the Finance Service Line (FSL) team in China and will be based in Shanghai. The incumbent will represent locally the SBS FSL – Statutory Accounting and report to the Country Accounting Director, Shanghai.

Support the Power of 2 project by delivering reliable financial statements and providing advice in accounting and tax transactions
Support the Company Accounting Manager to deliver local statutory account in respect of the local regulations & group account in respect of IFRS.
Support the Tax Compliance Manager to deliver local tax compliance in respect of the local tax regulations.
Guarantee the local compliance inside a company (or group of companies) and coordinate the activities with other Finance Service Unit & Service Line at BKK Service Centre and Controller.
Oversee the internal control within the companies in charge to ensure the reliability of the financial statement and ensure corrective actions coming from audit reports are implemented
Identify needs and areas of improvement for performance monitoring and participate to the definition of corrective actions with the Company Accounting Director.

Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience and 3 years as finance supervisor is necessary
Strong Accounting experience and high level of knowledge in local GAAP
Strong tax expertise in local rules and prior experience of IFRS would be an added advantage
Ability to understand systems architecture and strong IT tools knowledge in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office
Self-starter, achievement driven to identify, propose and fulfill challenging targets
Strong team spirit and communication skills, can work under high pressure
Experience in MNC environment and ability to interact with stakeholders from all levels across different cultures
Share service center working experience
English language skills
